REVIEW POLICY - JANUARY 2016

Please be aware due to the volume of review requests, we are unable to answer every email. If you do not hear from us within 8 weeks we are unlikely to review your work.

If you do not send a copy of your work in it's entirety, including art work with a covering email, we will be unable to review. We just do not have the time to reply requesting copies of your work.

We accept review requests in the YA and adults for Horror, Steampunk, SciFi, Paranormal, supernatural and Urban Fantasy genres.

We accept review copies from large publishers, eBook publishers, and from requesting authors. We also are more than willing and happy to accept requests from independent publishers, but if they’re not in the genres that we mentioned above, we will most likely decline.

We also review novelettes, short stories, audio books/dramas and graphic novels.

Whilst we do our best to review books in a timely manner, in some cases, there might be a delay. Also, please be aware we do not and cannot review every book we receive, and we can’t accept every review request.

We love an actual physical book but are happy to accept review copies in paperback, e-book, pdf and e-ARC copies.

Please email us carrie@horrorblog.co.uk or send Paperback copies to: HorrorBlog. C/O The WIllows. Wolvershill. Banwell. BS29 6LE.

We do not use a rating system as we believe this cheapens the overall professional approach we take to our work. We prefer to be super honest. We are critiquing the book and not the author personally. Please try to remember reviews are an opinion.

Self-Published Policy:

We whole heartedly support self published work. We will review self-published books in the same manner as above.
