WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We expect a high standard of story telling.

We are looking for stories that thrill and excite us. We do expect strong characters, the plot to engage us and above all, a book that we just can’t put down.

We are open to any subject matter, with the exception of the sexual abuse of children, because there are lines that even we won’t cross. If the book takes delight in the torture of women, dependent upon the story, we may turn this away too. We are also not interested in gore for the sake of it. Blood and guts are OK, but they need to be relevant to the plot.

If we decide to publish any of the works submitted to us, we will ensure that it is edited to professional standards, take care of the cover design, formatting, ebook creation and audio set up, including narrator and studio time. We will also pay an advance against royalties.

We currently pay between £400/£500 in advance royalties for novels and £100 for novellas, for accepted works, dependent on experience, size and current market trends and will offer a 40% Net royalties across the board, which is far more than other independent presses and makes us very competitive. We will also put a considerable amount of time and effort into marketing your work, although we do expect you, the author to help out in this respect.

Our books will be published in the UK and available through this website, Amazon and itunes — we’ll be buying printing and audio rights to cover all of those .
